About Myself

Welcome to my personal journey and professional endeavors. I am Durga Prasad Humagain, currently serving as the 2nd Vice District Governor of Lions Clubs International, District 325 K, Nepal. Born into the humble abode of my late father, Indra Prasad Humagain, and my mother, Chandra Maya Humagain, in Kushadevi, Kavrepalanchowk, my life has been a blend of commitment, leadership, and service.
Alongside my life partner, Lion Sarita Dahal Humagain, and our daughters, Sampada and Sanskriti, I have strived to embody the values of dedication, hard work, and community service. Our family, residing between the picturesque settings of Kushadevi and the vibrant city life of Pokhara, reflects the fusion of tradition and modern aspirations.
My Professional and Social Journey
My professional path has seen me at the helm of Safal Media House Pvt Ltd as the Chairman and Executive Director, steering the company towards impactful journalism and community engagement. As the Managing Director of Safal Biz Link and Publisher/Chief Editor of Safal Awaj Online News Portal, my ventures are guided by a vision to innovate and lead with integrity. My roles as a promotor in the insurance and adventure sectors signify my belief in diverse entrepreneurial ventures that contribute to our society’s economic and social fabric.
Beyond business, my heart lies in serving the community. From leading the Kavre Pokhara Milan Samaj to founding the Pokhara Chapter of the Advertising Association of Nepal, my journey in social service is driven by a passion for making a difference. My involvement with the Management Association of Nepal and memberships in organizations like the Nepal Red Cross Society and Human Rights and Peace Society are avenues through which I contribute to our collective wellbeing.

My lionistic path has been rich and fulfilling, marked by roles from Charter Secretary to the proud position of the 2nd Vice District Governor. These roles have not only been titles but chapters of growth, learning, and community service. My candidacy for the 1st Vice District Governor position is a testament to my ongoing commitment to our shared values and mission.
